It is a priority for the Verein Zürcher Museen and the museums themselves that the LONG NIGHT is open to as broad an audience as possible – including people with and without disabilities. We are therefore committed to continually improving accessibility. This year, our efforts focus on the following measures:
Find accessible museums with Ginto
Ginto provides people with impairments with information on the accessibility of Zurich museums participating in the LONG NIGHT. Using a needs profile, Ginto assesses the accessibility of a location on an individual basis and indicates what aids are available and what obstacles can be expected. Visitors can find the link to accessibility information under the respective museum profile, at ginto.guide, or in the Ginto app (available free of charge in the App Store or on Google Play). This makes planning a visit to the LONG NIGHT even easier.
Museum tour for people with hearing impairments
In cooperation with sichtbar Gehörlose, we have curated a tour through Zurich’s diverse museum landscape. It includes six different stops and is accompanied by two sign language interpreters who will translate into Swiss German. The tour begins at 6pm and ends at around midnight.

Programme with "Language-neutral" filter
The filter “language-neutral” lists programme items that do not require any language skills – such as concerts and performances.
Free tickets for persons accompanying people with disabilities
Accompanying persons of people with disabilities who require assistance will receive a free ticket. Please contact us in advance of the LONG NIGHT by e-mail (info@zuercher-museen.ch) or go directly to one of our information stands on 5 September.
